Original Chinese AKM Type II bayonet with its rare matching red polymer scabbard, issued for use with the Type 56 assault rifle, China’s licensed variant of the Soviet AKM. This variant is an early non-wire cutter model, and examples with color-matched scabbards are especially desirable among AK bayonet collectors. This example is in near excellent condition with sheath marks on the nice factory edged 5 ¾" blade, guard and pommel, marked "2796", have light oxidation, scales and scabbard match and are excellent.;
