Description:
The Leupold M8-4X is a fixed-power rifle scope featuring a 4X magnification and a Duplex reticle. It uses a 1-inch main tube and measures approximately 11 3/4 inches in overall length. The scope has a gloss black exterior finish, characteristic of Leupold’s M8 series optics produced during the late 1970s. The serial number on this unit is H445536, identifying it as manufactured in 1977.
Optical clarity is bright and defined, consistent with the fixed 4X configuration and Duplex reticle design intended for straightforward sight alignment. The gloss black finish has shifted toward a purple hue and shows some visible marks consistent with handling and prior mounting. This M8-4X is used, showing normal signs of service for its age, but retains functional optical performance.
