Manufactured by Miroku, Japan, under license from Winchester, these limited-series Model 1892 rifles are renowned for exceptional fit, finish, and smooth action—often exceeding original pre-war production standards.
Serial number 00339-MX920 confirms this example as an authentic Limited Series rifle. That “Limited Series – 1 of 500” Winchester/Miroku Model 1892 run is a late-1990s Davidson’s/USRAC-era gun — collectors who bought them when they were released note that the LTD rifles “came out in 1998” and that the Miroku 1886/1892 runs picked up in earnest at SHOT in 1997.
