Description:
Built with a blued barrel numbered “R/057237,” this rifle features a ramped white blade front sight, fixed rear sight with a white center line, and 2013 dated German proof marks. The barrel is paired with a silver alloy receiver engraved in deep relief with finely detailed African game scenes, depicting a kudu bull and cow on the left side and a pair of Cape buffalo bulls on the right. The rifle is fitted with a Grade IV highly figured walnut Schnabel tip forend with multi-point checkering and a polymer tip incorporating the front sling stud, along with a matching pistol grip stock featuring a polymer grip cap inlaid with a Dallas Ecological Foundation medallion, right-hand palm swell, Bavarian double rabbet cheekpiece, rear sling stud, and factory black recoil pad. Accompanying the rifle is an additional 25 5/8 inch barrel chambered in .300 Win Mag, also proofed in 2013 and numbered “R/058399.” Accessories include a Blaser branded Pelican case, leather sling, extra magazine box assembly, and a Blaser quick detach scope mount.
Condition:
Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin grey finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel is also excellent.
