Description:
Very nice early manufacturer Remington m-12 though it is not marked as such. Has the tang sight and the barrel is threaded. It has a home made blank to protect the threads. Seems to be factory original except the buttplate is a reproduction of the original. This one is marked 22 short- long- and long rifle. Retains lots of factory blue- gun is unmessed with otherwise. Gun is nice and tight and shoots very well with the tang sight. Bore condition is bright and shiny. This is a takedown model which readily breaks down to fit a short case. Need FFL or C&R license and certified funds for immediate shipment while business and personal checks wait a week to clear. Sorry- no credit cards anymore. Update on the threaded barrel; has 1/2x20 threads which would fit the Maxim 1909 22 cal silencer which sold for about $5. The mfg date would fit in the timeframe 1909 to 1934 gun control enactment by congress which killed that business until now.
