The strength of its 3-rings-of-steel receiver paired with a precision stainless steel barrel, combines to create the most popular bolt-action rifle in history. This rifle has a sporting contour barrel with a synthetic stock and rubber recoil pad. It has bases for scope mounting. It is very good with a bright bore. The .270 Winchester is a rifle cartridge developed from the .30-03 Springfield parent case that is necked down to 7mm. The cartridge is suitable for hunting deer-sized game at open ranges.
