The rifle remains in excellent overall condition with matching serial numbers noted throughout. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling. The carbine is equipped with its spike bayonet and sling. Chinese commercial Type 56 SKS rifles from this period were produced in large numbers for export and are well regarded for their durability and reliability.
