A Best Quality Boxlock Ejector by William Evans "From Purdey's". This 12 bore has 30 inch barrels, 2-1/2" chambers, choked IM and 3/4. Stunning Rose & Scroll Engraving over the entire action, top lever and furniture, gold inlaid "1" on rib and top lever indicating number one gun of a pair, gold inlaid "BOSS'S PATENT SINGLE TRIGGER" on top lever and "SAFE", English Walnut stock with drop points and crisp checkering, 3/4" wood extention with checkered butt and vacant oval. Dolls head extention to rib inscribed "WILLIAM EVANS (FROM PURDEY'S) 63 PAUL MALL ST JAMES'S LONDON.
