Payment Types Accepted: U.S. Postal Money Order, Cashier's Check Description: This is a beautiful 1860 Army Colt made in 1861 right during the time when the Confederate government bought a large number Colt revolvers. I did not letter this gun but it does not have any U.S. markings at all. It has a beautiful chocolate brown patina. The grips to metal fit is very good. One of the grips has a few dings on the bottom which is pictured, but the grips are also beautiful. This gun is very tight with no barrel wiggle. The cylinder locks up well and the spring is strong. Mechanically, this gun is Very Good +. The bore is very good. The cylinder scene is in great condition with one small spot where it looks like someone may have touched it with sweat or blood on their thumb. This is pictured also. The wedge and the arbor serial numbers match the rest of the gun, making all serial numbers matching numbers. The barrel address, the Colts Patent on the frame and all the serial numbers are very clear. This Colt would be a worthy additon to any Civil War collection. Price: $2,545.00 Antique: Yes |
