Description:
30 inch extra heavy barrel chambered in 38-55 caliber with a very good shiny bore that has well defined rifling. Over an inch and a quarter across the muzzle. Sights include a Globe front and buckhorn rear with a folding long range tang sight. Barrel is a plum/brown color with traces of blue in protected areas. Sharp corners. Receiver is a brown/gray with traces of case colors. Good mechanical condition. Wood has a checkered pistol grip stock. A repaired crack in the wrist which is typical for a heavy weight barrel. Shotgun style buttplate. All matching numbers on the barrel, frame and forearm. A scarce gun that weighs in at over 16 pounds!.
