Savage Model 99EG (.300 Savage) Manufactured in 1954 (Serial No. 726890). This rifle is verified by the "3F" lever boss date code, confirming the 1954 production year and American craftsmanship. The rifle remains in its factory-original configuration with Leupold VX-1 2-7x33mm Rifle Scope. "Savage Model 99" is on side of barrel as configured for a scope from the factory. Technical Specifications & Condition: Action: Features the signature rotary magazine with a highly visible brass internal counter. Bolt: The factory engine-turned (jeweled) bolt is in excellent mechanical condition with smooth cycling. Lever: Retains visible case-hardened colors, establishing its well-preserved state. Bore: Mirror-sharp with deep, clean rifling and zero evidence of frosting or pitting. Barrel: 22-inch profile with original roll marks: "Savage Arms Corporation, Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A." Stock: Original walnut featuring a Schnabel for end and factory hand-cut checkering. Butt plate: Fitted with the original serrated steel but plate. Shipping is only between FFL.
