**NICE** SAVAGE ANSCHUTZ Early 1965 mfg. Model 153 chambered .222 Rem. Barrel is 24" with excellent bore. Factory iron sights. Receiver is both grooved and factory tapped. Has Weaver blocks. 5-shot magazine. Beautiful French walnut stock with rollover cheekpiece and Rosewood foretip and grip cap. Wood does show some light usage and handling marks, but nothing major. I would rate 90%+. Finish is original. Blueing is quite nice overall. I would give it 95%. Sides of front sight ramp show some marks and touch up. Sight hood is absent.
