Description:
Serial #497382, .30-30 WCF, 20 inch Nickel Steel Barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is a Model 94 SRC manufactured by Winchester in 1911. The barrel and magazine tube show about 90-95% of the original blue finish with a small patch of surface roughness just being the sight on the barrel top. The frame is void of all finish with a pleasing gun metal gray with some scattered patches of plum-brown. The Gumwood stock and forearm rate about excellent with some very light handling marks. The original saddle ring is present and the barrel band and stock have period sling studs installed. It is sighted with a No. 34C three position express rear sight and ivory bead front sight. The action functions properly with a tight lock up. A very nice pre-WWI Saddle Ring Carbine. FFL or C&R
