An excellent Remington 700 Mountain Rifle chambered in .280 Remington. The 700 Mountain Rifle was produced between 1986 and 1994, this one has a 1990 barrel date code. This lightweight version of the Remington 700 has become difficult to find as they are such fine, light rifles. The Mountain Rifle feature a 22-inch tapered barrel, American Walnut checkered and satin finished stock with cheekpiece, an ebony forend, and weighs in at 6 3/4 lbs. This rifle is in great condition. The blued finish on the receiver and barrel is about perfect with no defects that I can find. The bluing has no flaws; no scratches, no wear, no rust spots. The stock is also in beautiful condition. The finish is completely intact and that might be a couple very light handling marks. The bore is bright with crisp rfling. This rifle will come with the factory box with matching serial number and the owner’s manual. I will ship via UPS, well protected and fully insured for the full purchase price, for $50.00 anywhere in the continental U.S. to the holder of a valid FFL. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will be additional. I will accept all the regular forms of payment but 3% will be added to credit card sales to cover the additional processing fee from the card company
