Bear Arms Promotions LLC is proud to offer up this historic and rare Remington Keene Sporting rifle in 45-70 Government. Only around 5000 Remington Keenes were produced between 1880 and 1888. What makes this rifle particularly rare is the fact that it's nickel finish and is engraved throughout. This one is believed to be an exhibition rifle and features a 22" half round and half octagon barrel. The cleaning rod is also still with the rifle inside of the metal butt plate. The rifles nickel finish does show wear and the wood has handling marks but an overall extremely strong condition Remington Keene. An absolute stunner for any Remington Collector.
