Up for sale is an FEG M53 Mosin-Nagant carbine, a Hungarian-produced military rifle manufactured by FÉG (Fémáru Fegyver és Gépgyár). Chambered in 7.62x54R, the M53 is Hungary’s version of the Soviet M44 carbine and is well regarded for its robust construction, reliability, and historical Cold War significance.
This compact military carbine features the distinctive side-folding bayonet and shorter barrel configuration, making it handier than the standard full-length Mosin rifles. The rifle retains its original military appearance with matching Cold War-era styling, arsenal markings, and classic hardwood stock.
The wood shows expected handling marks, storage wear, and small dings consistent with military surplus firearms of this age. Metal finish remains in good surplus condition with honest wear and patina.
