The Antique Belgian Folbert single shot pistol is chambered in 6?mm and configured with a 2.5-inch barrel transitioning from octagonal to round. It is an antique rimfire design featuring a break-open or tip-up single-shot action typical of small-caliber parlor pistols produced in Belgium during the late 19th. The frame and barrel display period construction with a blued or browned finish that has aged naturally over time. Smooth wood birds-head grips are fitted to the grip frame, consistent with the compact style of Folbert pistols of this type.
This pistol is used and shows age-related darkening of the bore. The mechanical action functions as intended for a single-shot mechanism, engaging and releasing correctly. Surfaces exhibit patina and finish wear consistent with its age, with no serial number present on the frame or barrel.
