Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a bright shiny bore. Sights include a German silver blade front and sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube retain most thinning blue with some very light spots of brown. Receiver has most of its bright blue finish while fading to a gray/brown at the top of the frame and at the carry point on the bottom. Hammer and lever have good traces of darkened case colors. Loading gate is a bright blue. Smooth functioning action. Walnut stock set is in good condition with hardly any handling mars. Rifle style buttplate is gray with hints of case color. This Winchester was made in 1888.
