Description:
Elaborate engraving that is definitely Nimschke's work. Gun features a 26 inch octagon barrel. Blade front sight and folding ladder sight rear sight missing the ladder. Excellent bore. Gun has the early style external extractor on e bottom of the forearm which is rarely seen. Barrel has been re-finished and looks good. Wood shows some use with some minor cracks but still very usable. 406 serial number on the frame and the barrel. Very attractive Ballard.
