This gun was built between 1825 and 1839. It features a Remington Barrel (1839 became Remington & Sons) and a Goulcher lock (started business 1825) We shot this rifle less than 1 month ago and it still patterns well. This is a once in a lifetime find for the black powder shooter.The stock shows an older repair but it is a quality repair
I beleive this gun is totally original. This gun weights approx 11 pounds.
