Description:
The Remington Model 760 is a pump-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield and fitted with a 22-inch barrel. Manufactured in 1969, this rifle features a blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver, paired with a checkered walnut forearm and a matching walnut buttstock. It uses a detachable magazine and retains its original front and rear sights. The model’s design includes a tubular action bar and solid steel receiver consistent with Remington’s production of the period.
This rifle is used. The bore is described as excellent, showing clean lands and strong rifling. The barrel and receiver have been reblued, with light scuffs, surface marks, and small areas of freckling visible on the receiver. The action tube exhibits moderate finish wear with some light surface rust. The walnut furniture shows scattered minor handling marks and light dings, with mild sun fading on the buttstock. Checkering remains defined, and the plastic buttplate is intact.
Included features are the detachable magazine and co-witness scope rings mounted to the receiver. The rifle retains its original open sights. Its configuration, finish, and production year qualify it as a Curio & Relic firearm under federal classification.
