The X-Bolt is designed from the ground up to provid the best out-of-the-box accuracy on the market. The rifle features a bedded action that allows the barrel to free-float, ensuring minimal interference with barrel harmonics to allow for repeatable accuracy shot after shot. The X-Bolt also features Browning‚s patented X-Lock scope mounting system that utilizes four screws per base compared to the traditional two, allowing for accurate and rock-solid attachment of optics to the receiver. A short, 60-degree throw is also incorporated, allowing for fast cycling without interfering with mounted optics.
The Micro Midas series features more compact dimensions making a better fit for many shooters without sacrificing any premium features of the X-Bolt line. A shorter length of pull aids in faster shouldering and a more comfortable trigger reach and is paired with a shorter barrel for better balance. The rifle comes in a non-reflective matte blued receiver finish and is paired with a satin-finished walnut stock with a cut checkering grip texture. This model is chambered in .243 Winchester and features a 4-round capacity.
