Description:
The Colt Python is a stainless steel double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. This model features a 3-inch barrel and the classic Python frame configuration. The stainless finish extends across the frame, barrel, and cylinder, giving the revolver a uniform appearance with durable corrosion resistance. Chambering in .357 Magnum allows compatibility with .38 Special ammunition, maintaining the versatility typical of the Python series. The 3-inch barrel length provides a compact profile while preserving the barrel’s full-lug balance and ventilated rib design associated with this model line.

Machined from stainless steel, the revolver’s construction includes a solid frame and recessed crown typical of modern production Pythons. The double-action mechanism is paired with a smooth single-action trigger pull, and the cylinder locks into place through Colt’s standard latch system. The stainless finish highlights the contours of the barrel and frame, and the shorter barrel length makes this configuration distinct from the longer 4.25- and 6-inch variants. This revolver is in new condition, consistent with current factory production.

  • All Federal Firearms License (FFL) rules and regulations apply to all firearm purchases. Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • We gladly accept valid Curio & Relic (C&R) licenses, where legally applicable.
  • Local pickup is available and will require completion of ATF Form 4473 and a successful background check.
  • A three (3) day non-firing inspection period is provided on all firearms. Once the firearm has been transferred from your receiving FFL, it is considered your property and is no longer eligible for return except as outlined below.
  • Shipping Damage: Firearms must be inspected immediately upon receipt. Any shipping damage must be reported immediately so it may be addressed appropriately.
  • Listing Accuracy: Every effort is made to ensure listings are accurate. If there is a discrepancy in the listing or you believe an item was misrepresented, please contact us promptly.
  • Returns: Returns are accepted with the buyer responsible for all return shipping costs. Returns for reasons other than verified shipping damage or confirmed listing discrepancies are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Condition of Returns: All returned firearms must be unfired, unmodified, and in the same condition as when originally shipped, including all original packaging and accessories.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Ammunition, magazines, and accessories are not eligible for return.
  • Legal Responsibility: The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring the firearm is legal to own in their jurisdiction. Orders that cannot be completed due to legal restrictions or failed background checks may be subject to return shipping costs and applicable fees.
  • Payment Terms: Credit card payments must be made within seven (7) days of close.
  • Check Payments: Checks must be mailed within fourteen (14) days and received within twenty-one (21) days of close. Additional time may be allowed for holidays.
  • Layaway Option: A 60-day layaway is available under the following terms:
    • One-third (1/3) of the purchase price is due immediately.
    • One-third (1/3) of the purchase price is due within thirty (30) days.
    • The final one-third (1/3) payment is due within sixty (60) days.
    • If any payment is more than thirty (30) days late, all payments made will be forfeited and the item will be relisted for sale with no exceptions.
