The SIG Sauer P365 XL is an extended version of the wildly successful P365 platform, offering improved shootability and capacity while still maintaining a slim, concealment-friendly profile. Manufactured in the United States, the P365 XL helped redefine what shooters could expect from a compact carry pistol by blending micro-compact width with near full-size handling characteristics. Chambered in 9mm, the XL variant adds a longer slide and grip module over the standard P365, resulting in a softer shooting and easier-to-control platform. It quickly became a favorite among concealed carriers who wanted more sight radius and capacity without stepping up to a larger handgun.
This particular example is one of the earlier optics-ready P365 XL models, featuring the optic plate system where the cover plate is secured from underneath the slide rather than by top-mounted screws. The pistol retains SIG’s striker-fired system along with the factory X-RAY sight setup, providing a highly visible sight picture even without an optic installed. Its extended grip frame allows the included 12-round magazines to fit flush while maintaining a slim and comfortable carry profile.
