Description:
Handsome Trantor 3rd model revolver with original case and accesories. These historic revolvers were made by Tranter and sold through various gunmakers and dealers. This .380 (80 bore) percussion pistol is of the 3rd type manufactured around 1860 +/-. Low serial number 7665T. It is in excellent original condition. It was originally marketed through W.A. Beckwith, a noted gunmaker and dealer locacted on Skinner Street in London. The revolver has excellent finsh overall, with one area of case wear on the side of the barrel. It it's completely functional, action is nice and tight and shows very little use. Case is in very good overall condition and it included many original accesories for shooting and maintence.
