Description:
Charles Daly English Double Barrel Hammer 10 ga Shotgun Bores VG shiny, Mech Exc tight and crisp barrel lock and actions. Has high grade wood with fine checkering on the wrist and forarm. The buttplate appears to be horn and excellent. Has 32” barrels marked Charles Daly Fine Damascus Barrels. The lockplates are both marked Charles Daly and have fine engraving as well as the receiver , triggerguard, hammers and forearm lever. The barrels have a strong Damascus pattern. Produced by fine European gun makers in the late 1880’s to 1895. Serial#1804. Metal overall has a smooth unpitted finish with some case coloring. The barrels have some small spots of surface rust in areas.
