20" bbl., engraved with "Apache" gold letters, ramp bead hooded front, buckhorn open rear, rt. side engraved with Indian designs, mountain range & cactus with "Apache", left side depicts kneeking Apache holding rifle, surrounded by Indian sesigns, saddle ring inscribed with "Model 1894 Winchester", stock has gold medallion inscrobed with "Apache", The "Most" famous/nortorius of all, in battle carried a Indian Scout (" Springfield Rifle") led a very colorful, confrontational life , never surrendered, but caltured & died ripe old age of 89 imprisoned at Ft. Pickens , Fl. on Santa Rosa Island, running from Pennsacola, Fl. to just short of Destin, Fl., this historical carbine unfired in box, spare saddle ring enclosed wit manual, schmetics & provanance, pictured sleeve cover tastefully restored at 1 end, small area, (looks good) & lasting so:
