Offered is a truly outstanding Browning Superposed Midas Grade shotgun in the highly sought after .410 bore with 3” chambers, representing the pinnacle of Belgian Superposed production.
This example is built with 28” ventilated rib barrels, fitted with a white front bead and mid-rib bead, and choked Modified and Full. The gun features a single selective trigger and classic round knob short tang configuration, providing excellent balance and handling.
The walnut stock is exceptional displaying rich, highly figured marble and flame grain throughout, far exceeding standard Midas examples. Dimensions include a 14 1/4” length of pull, 2 3/8” drop at heel, and 1 3/8” drop at comb, with neutral cast. Weight is 7 lbs. 3 oz., offering a smooth and controlled swing rarely found in .410 bore guns.
The receiver is masterfully engraved by BLEUS, featuring bold gold-inlaid game scenes surrounded by deep, well-executed scrollwork. Coverage is strong and crisp, with excellent contrast and definition hallmarks of high-grade Midas production.
Condition is excellent, with strong original finish, sharp engraving, and beautifully preserved wood. Mechanically sound and ready for use or collection.
This is a collector quality Midas Grade .410 one of the most desirable and difficult to source configurations in the Superposed line.
