The Colt Police Positive is a double- and single-action revolver chambered in .38 Long Colt. This model features a 4-inch barrel and a blued steel frame with fixed sights. The revolver has a six-shot cylinder and brown checkered hard rubber grips bearing the Colt logo. The Police Positive design is built on a solid steel frame and represents Colt’s early 20th-century medium-frame revolver configuration. The serial number 32239 indicates production in 1909.
