Description:
Offered here is a classic Belgian Browning Superposed Grade I chambered in 20 gauge with desirable 3” Magnum chambers, manufactured by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium in 1962. This is an elegant and highly practical upland configuration featuring the sought after long tang trigger guard, round knob semi-pistol grip stock, and 28” ventilated rib barrels.

The shotgun is fitted with 28” barrels chambered for 2 3/4” and 3” 20 gauge shells and retains its factory fixed Modified and Full choke configuration. The barrels wear a ventilated rib with a single white front bead and are paired with a single selective trigger and automatic ejectors.

The gun balances beautifully at 6 lbs. 10 ozs., offering the solid feel of a classic Superposed while still remaining lively and comfortable in the field. The longer 28” barrels combined with the Magnum chambering make this an excellent all around upland and waterfowl capable 20 gauge.

The walnut stock and forend retain their original finish and sharp checkering, showing very attractive grain throughout. The gun is configured with the desirable round knob semi-pistol grip stock and long tang trigger guard, features many Browning collectors specifically seek in earlier Belgian Superposed guns. The stock is fitted with a period white line recoil pad.

Dimensions are as follows:

Length of Pull: 14”
Drop at Heel: 2 1/4”
Drop at Comb: 1 3/8”
Cast Off: 1/8”

Overall condition remains very strong, with excellent original blue remaining on the barrels, clean receiver surfaces, and sharp markings throughout. The shotgun presents as a well preserved and properly cared for Belgian Browning.

Belgian Superposed 20 gauge Magnum guns continue to gain collector and shooter interest, particularly clean original examples from the early FN production years.
