This is a very cool piece of American shooting history — a Winchester Model 1904
Single-Shot Bolt Action Takedown Rifle in its original factory Junior Rifle Corps Range Kit No. 2 case.

This rifle comes complete in its original dark wood Winchester Junior Rifle Corps Range Kit No. 2 case, including the official Winchester Junior Rifle Corps Targets poster, Rules booklet, Winchester cleaning tag, and original dividers. These complete kits are genuinely rare.
Condition: Honest original condition with normal wear for a 100+ year old boy‚s rifle. Wood shows typical scratches, dings, and handling marks. Metal has age patina and some finish loss. Important Bore Note: The bore has visible rifling but shows some old corrosion/pitting consistent with early corrosive .22 ammunition (very common on these rifles). It remains shootable as-is for plinking or casual use.
Gunsmith Inspection Recommended prior to firing.
This is a genuine Winchester Junior Rifle Corps rifle — the exact model used by thousands of American kids in the early 20th century to learn marksmanship. A fantastic example for collectors of Winchester .22s, boy‚s rifles, youth shooting memorabilia, or early 1900s firearms.
