RIFLE: ENFIELD FIREARMS MODEL BRITISH 303, SERIAL NUMBER 93836, BLACK (MATTE), CASE NOT INCLUDED, 22\", 303 BRITISH, BOLT

Notes:
The Lee-Enfield is an iconic, bolt-action infantry rifle that served as the primary firearm of the British Empire and Commonwealth forces from 1895 until 1957. Renowned for its smooth action and large magazine capacity, over 17 million units were produced across multiple variants.

Caliber: .303 British, a rimmed rifle cartridge originally developed with black powder and later upgraded to smokeless cordite propellant.

Capacity: 10-round detachable box magazine, which provided double the capacity of contemporary German Mauser or American Springfield rifles. It was primarily loaded from the top using two 5-round charger clips.

Action: Cock-on-closing bolt design. This mechanism required less physical effort to open compared to cock-on-opening systems, facilitating a remarkably fast rate of fire.

Effective Range: Approximately 600 yards for an individual soldier, with a maximum aerodynamic range of up to 2,500 yards.

Rate of Fire: A well-trained infantryman could reliably achieve 15 aimed shots per minute. Elite soldiers demonstrated the famous \"Mad Minute\", placing 15+ hits on a 300-yard target within 60 seconds.

SMLE Mk III (Short Magazine Lee-Enfield): The definitive firearm of World War I. It features a blunt nose cap, prominent nose-cap wings to protect the front sight, and a 25.2-inch barrel.

Rifle No. 4 Mk I: The primary British service rifle of World War II. It simplified the production line with a heavier barrel, a protruding muzzle for blade bayonets, and receiver-mounted aperture peep sights rather than mid-barrel leaf sights.

No. 5 Mk I \"Jungle Carbine\": A shortened, lightened variant engineered for airborne and jungle combat in the Pacific theater. It features a distinct conical flash hider and a rubber butt-pad to dampen the increased recoil.

ALL FIREARMS WILL BE SENT TO AN FFL WHEN PURCHASING A FIREARM, IT IS UP TO THE CUSTOMER TO GET IN CONTACT WITH THE RECEIVING FFL THAT THE FIREARM WILL BE SENT TO.
