This elegant W.J. Jeffery & Co. 16 Gauge sidelock is a beautifully engraved English game gun. The sidelock action is profusely decorated with banners and detailed hunting-scene vignettes. The barrels have been expertly sleeved by Westley Richards, a highly regarded name that ensures excellent quality and pattern performance.
It features 28" barrels choked Full & Improved Modified, double triggers, tang safety, and ejectors. The checkered walnut straight-grip stock includes attractive carved drop points and a blank initial oval in the toe line. Stock dimensions (14 7/8" LOP, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 1/8" DAH, 8mm cast-off) and a light 5 lbs 14 oz weight make this an exceptionally quick and lively 16 Gauge.

Condition is near excellent with crisp engraving, strong finishes, and bright bores. The recut checkering and honest field use are the only minor notes on an otherwise very fine example.
