1983 Colt Python double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, featuring a 4" barrel and satin stainless finish. Widely regarded as one of Colt’s finest revolvers, the Python is known for its smooth action, precision fitting, and distinctive appearance.
The 4" barrel configuration offers an ideal balance between handling and shootability, making it one of the most desirable barrel lengths within the Python lineup. The satin stainless finish provides a refined appearance while offering improved resistance to wear and corrosion.
This example appears to have been very lightly shot and remains in excellent overall condition. The revolver shows only minor handling wear, and the cylinder displays extremely minimal powder burn marks, further supporting limited use. The metal surfaces remain attractive, with strong overall presentation throughout. Timing and lockup remain solid and consistent with careful ownership.
