Description:
General Specs: Steyr, 1910, 8x18mm, 35oz. 5 1/2"
Serial Number: 25442

Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this unique Austro-Hungarian pistol. The Roth-Steyr Model 1907 was designed by Czech gunsmith Karel Krnka, inspired by the Roth–Theodorovic pistol, while working for Georg Roth’s ammunition company. Karel Krnka and Roth won thefor the Austro-Hungarian military, being officially adopted as the Repetierpistole M.7. and would be manufactured by OEWG Steyr and later FEG Budapest as Roth did not have the production capabilities. The Roth-Steyr Model 1907 would go on to inspire the Steyr M1912 pistol which copied the rotating barrel locking mechanism. The Roth-Steyr would see limited use in WW1 by Austria-Hungary and after WW1 Yugoslavia and Italy received large numbers, which would go on to see use in WW2. This example, serial number 25442, produced by Steyr in 1910 and comes with a leather holster and one stripper clip. The pistol retains 90% factory finish on all parts and has an excellent bore. It does show field marks and wear especially on the right-hand side, only to be expected after well over a century of service! Have a look at the detailed specifications and pictures below.
