Offered for your consideration is a Mint, Tanaka P.P.C. Match Revolver - a true collector’s dream and a unique ONE-OF-A-KIND Pride of Ownership. Finish is Superb , High-Polish Stainless Steel – simply Pristine, The rifling is crisp. The sights are Custom ARISTOCRAT Adjustable Front and Rear Sight.
The Tanaka P.P.C. Match Revolver is customized with the following features: a yoke ball lock, main spring lock screw,, narrow thumbpiece, timing and alignment set at optimum, competition action work with double action trigger pull set between 6 3/4 and 7 lbs., chamfered and numbered cylinder chambers, relieved extractor, straightening of all studs, stoned and polished contact areas, 11 degree-cut forcing cone, barrel cylinder gap set to .005-.006" and stippled backstrap.
BARREL- Apex barrel in chromemoly or stainless steel. Available in 1- 1 1/2" diameter, some with customized underlug. Also available is a 1" slab version with Aristocrat underlug.
FINISH- Metalife hardchrome finish or blue.
GRIPS- Choice of Hogue, Davis, or Pachmayr
SITES- Aristocrat Triset, rear adjustable site or Davis-style front adjustable ribsite with either 1/8" wide front blade or 1/10" wide front blade
Custom built by famous gunsmith Alan Tanaka who has been crafting competition handguns since 1986. With his precision work, quality control, and commitment to customer needs, it is no wonder that top-notch shooters have turned to him for his services, melding his precision machinist skills and his knowledge of the intricate workings of firearms with his understanding of a shooter’s needs Alan Tanaka brings more than twenty years experience as a moldmaker/machinist to gunsmithing. As a machinist, he is skilled in milling, lathe work, precision surface grinding, and electrical discharge machining. In his daily work, he routinely deals with specifications calling for tolerances of +/- .0001 (one ten-thousandth) as required by the aerospace and computer industries
Alan strives and achieves the closest tolerances by taking the time it takes to fit each component to function properly warrants total concentration. Therefore, he works on only one piece at a time so that my focus can be complete. He is not a production line. Each piece he produces represents the very best that he can achieve. Even after the gun is completed and in the customer’s hands, he still feels a personal commitment to ensure that you, the client, are totally satisfied.
