Famars (Abbiatico & Salvinelli) Excalibur BLX 20 gauge true pair. Made in 1999, serials FO135 and FO136 are bespoke with 29.25-inch barrels (polished blue, choke tubes, matted vent ribs with single beads, three-inch chambers, ejectors). Features include automatic safeties and single non-select detachable triggers (extra serialed and engraved trigger group for each is included). STOCKS: Crafted from a AAA-grade English blank sets with bold figure, formalities include fine wrap checkering with double borders, open grip profiles and hard-heeled Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pads. ENGRAVING: The vineyard design by Bonsi Diego (signed) graces the full canvas of the actions and latches. DIMENSIONS: Weights are 7.2 pounds. Lengths-of-pull are 14.65 inches, drops are 1.4 and 2.2 inches, and cast offs are approximately .40-inch. CHOKE TUBES: Ten are included, unmarked as to brand, two each notched 0/1/2/3/4. CONDITIONS: Bores are brilliant, barrels on face and mechanics snappy. GUN 1: Barrel finish is at least 95 percent with one small spot (likely a case rub) and two minor impressions on the rib shoulder. Action is 99 percent. Wood is approximately 97 percent with occasional hints of handling. GUN 2: Barrel finish is approximately 95 percent. Action is approximately 97 percent with trace rubbing on right. Right plate is very slightly proud. Wood is approximately 97 percent. INCLUSIONS: A leather trunk case (holds pair) with a canvas cover and maker's label, eextra springs and firing pins, certificates, weighted snaps, cleaning rod with attachments, stock wrench, and receipt from 1999 purchase ($41,500) is present. All accessories and inclusions are in excellent condition. The price is firm and layaway is available.
