Dakota 76 special order .300 H&H Magnum. Made circa 2019, serial MABANGA-300 has a 24-inch barrel (rust blue finish, banded and hooded ramp front sight with brass-beaded blade, banded sling swivel stud, island rear sight assembly with notched express blade). Features include a color case action with rust blue accents, full-length claw extractor, three-position safety and a hidden bolt release lever. STOCK: Coaxed from a AA-grade English walnut blank with strong directional grain and a satin finish, appointments include 24 lines-per-inch wrap checkering, twin crossbolts, open grip profile, checkered butt with heel and toe clips, steel grip cap, recessed toe line stud, timed screws and color case accents (plugs, clips and cap). ENGRAVING: The action is dressed with a Celtic cross and knot design bordered in gold, the pattern continuing over the chamber and reappearing on the sight assemblies, band, clips and rings. OPTIC: A Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3x42P scope with illuminated reticle is secured in color case Talley 30mm quick detaching rings. The two-position illumination switch for the dot works only in the right position. Glass and tube finish condition is essentially new. CAPACITY: Four rounds feed from the magazine. The extractor “snaps over” rounds dropped into the chamber. Feeding, extraction and ejection are smooth and positive. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 9.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.7 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Mechanics are solid. Metal finish is at least 99 percent with but a hint of handling. Wood is approximately 98 percent with traces of handling and light impressions at the toe. AMMUNITION: Eighty rounds of Extreme Custom Ammunition (40 rounds 150-grain Barnes Tipped TSX and 40 rounds 180-grain Barnes Tipped TSX) are present. INCLUSIONS: An unattached engraved grip cap is present. No box or papers. SISTER RIFLES: A .375 H&H and a .400 H&H with similar custom features and engraving are presented separately.
