Dakota 76 special order .375 H&H Magnum. Made in 2019, serial MABANGA375 has a 23-inch barrel (rust blue finish, banded and hooded ramp front sight with brass-beaded blade, banded sling swivel stud, quarter rib with one fixed and two folding notched express leafs). Features include a color case action with rust blue accents, full-length claw extractor, jeweled bolt body, checkered bolt knob (two teardrop panels), three-position safety, hidden bolt release lever and a drop box magazine. STOCK: Drawn from a AAA-grade English walnut blank with complex, rioting figure and a satin finish, details include 24 lines-per-inch wrap checkering, twin crossbolts, open grip profile, steel grip cap, recessed toe line stud, timed screws, color case accents (plugs, cap) and a leather-covered recoil pad. ENGRAVING: The action is dressed with a Celtic cross and knot design bordered in gold, the pattern continuing over the chamber and reappearing on the sight assemblies, band and rings. OPTIC: A Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3x42P scope with illuminated reticle (both dot and circle) is secured in color case Talley 30mm quick detaching rings. Electronics operate properly and condition is essentially new. CAPACITY: Five rounds (four plus one). The extractor “snaps over” rounds dropped into the chamber. Feeding, extraction and ejection are smooth and positive. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 10.4  pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.55 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Mechanics are solid. Metal finish is at least 99 percent with but a hint of handling. Wood is at least 98 percent with trace rubbing. ACCURACY: Test targets show a .765-inch group (center-to-center, three shots, 100 yards, 300-grain Barnes) plus three strong 50-yard groups fired with each of the open sight blades. INCLUSIONS: A detachable Talley rear aperture sight and Certificate of Ownership are present. No box or papers.
