Description:
Drillings, Double Rifles, and Rifles - Strong rifling but with some minor pitting in the bores makes this gun a fun shooter and it should shoot well. It uses a cam system similar to the Lancaster slide and tilt guns. I note the lever goes tight, but the gun could cam back another 16" to make it perfect (I suspect a bit of metal needs adding to one of the lumps). The right hammer while functional I believe to be a replacement. Barrels need blacking. The name and address on the rib are crystal clear. A bit of a project but a fun one!
*It would be so fun to fire up this puppies\' engines and bag a big buck with this rifle. The 16 bore rifles were very popular with the elite for stalking red stag in Scottland!
