Offered for sale is a beautifully configured Webley & Scott Model 720 side by side shotgun in 20 gauge, presenting in as new, unfired condition and complete with its factory case.
This shotgun represents a modern interpretation of the classic English boxlock game gun, built with an emphasis on balance, simplicity, and field performance. The Model 720 has earned a strong reputation among shooters seeking traditional British styling without entering the bespoke London market.
This example is exceptionally well configured as a true upland gun. It features 28” barrels with 3” chambers, choked Improved Cylinder and Modified, and fitted with a flat filed rib and single silver front bead. The gun is equipped with a single non selective trigger and an English straight grip stock, promoting fast, instinctive handling.
Weighing just 5 lbs. 14 oz., this shotgun delivers the lively balance and responsiveness expected from a proper game gun. The stock dimensions measure approximately 14 ¾” length of pull, 1 5/8” drop at comb, and 2 5/8” drop at heel with 1/8” cast off, making it a natural fit for most right handed shooters.
Condition is as new and unfired. The barrels retain mirror bores, the action remains tight and on face, and the wood and metal finishes are excellent throughout with no handling marks observed. The gun is complete with its factory case.
The low serial number (G00078B) places this shotgun among the earlier production examples of the Model 720 series, adding an additional layer of desirability.
