The Model 939 was H&R’s attempt to re-enter the target pistol arena and it remained a popular plinker for many years. This pistol is an early 1st production model featuring a patented push button cylinder release on the hammer that was NEVER offered on any other H&R revolver and was discontinued from the Model 939 in 1965. These guns are very rare and very hard to find especially in this condition. Gun easily rates excellent overall. Timing is perfect and cylinder locks up tight.
