Description: Offered here is an exceptional Browning Citori Grade VI chambered in 28 gauge, presented in truly outstanding, brand new condition. Built with 26” barrels and a highly desirable upland configuration, this shotgun combines elegant factory engraving, vivid gold game scene inlays, and unusually strong figured walnut, resulting in one of the finer Grade VI examples to come to market in recent years. This shotgun features a 2 3/4” chamber, ventilated rib, single selective trigger, and a round knob pistol grip with long tang trigger guard. The barrels are fixed choked Improved Cylinder and Modified, making the gun extremely versatile for upland hunting while still retaining the classic handling qualities that have made the smallbore Citori line so respected among collectors and sportsmen alike. The receiver is beautifully finished with deep scroll engraving accented by gold upland game scenes and gold inlaid accents throughout the action and trigger guard. The engraving presents sharply with excellent contrast against the darkened receiver finish. The walnut on this gun is far above average for a standard production Grade VI, showing strong feather and marble figure with rich coloration throughout both the buttstock and forearm. Condition is outstanding throughout. The metal retains virtually all of its original finish, the wood remains crisp and highly polished, and the checkering is sharp and clean. This gun appears to have seen little to no use and remains in collector level condition.
