Description:
The Webley & Scott Mark IV "War Finish" is a specialized version of the standard British service revolver produced during World War II. The "War Finish" stamp was applied by Webley & Scott as a disclaimer to indicate that the gun met all mechanical safety and functional standards, but lacked the high-polish bluing and cosmetic refinement of their peacetime products to speed up production for the war effort. Features a scissoring action where the barrel and cylinder tilt downward, automatically ejecting all six spent casings simultaneously for rapid reloading. As a widely issued WWII pistol, the Mark IV is considered a great entry point for collectors due to its affordability compared to other service sidearms. .38 WCF
