Description:
Nice looking old Marlin 336A (improved model 36) rifle with 24" barrel and half magazine. The metal retains a good 85-90% factory blue, only thinning where it was carried and the wood is exceptionally nice dense walnut with only a few hunting dings, no cracks or damage, with original buttplate and the marlin bullseye in the stock. This one has the "fat" forearm, holds nice in the hand. Sights not original, rear sight is an old period Marbles folding sight and the receiver sight is a Lyman 66. Ramp front sight has the provision for the hood but not included. Barrel has the old ballard style rifling, not microgruv and is sharp, bright and clean. See a 1936 Marlin carbine on another of my listings. Need FFL or C&R license and certified funds for immediate shipping upon receipt.
