Description:
The Marlin Golden 39A is a lever-action rifle chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges. It features a 24-inch JM-stamped Micro-Groove barrel with a blued finish and a tubular magazine. The rifle is configured with a smooth wood pistol-grip stock and matching forearm, both capped and fitted with a factory black checkered buttplate. The receiver and barrel retain the traditional Marlin layout with top ejection and side loading gate.
This rifle is used. The bore condition is described as excellent, showing strong rifling and a bright interior. The action cycles through the lever mechanism in the standard Marlin pattern, and the rear sight is adjustable for elevation. The overall configuration represents the long-barreled version of the Golden 39A, known for its Micro-Groove rifling and solid steel receiver construction. The stock retains its target medallion insert, and the wood surfaces display the original smooth finish consistent with this model.
Included features consist of the full-length tubular magazine, adjustable rear sight, and front blade sight. The rifle has the original factory furniture with the black checkered buttplate and pistol-grip cap. Serial number 17264706 is present on the receiver.
