An Early & Scarce U.S. Civil War Military Issued Joslyn Model 1862 Carbine In Nice Untouched All Original Condition. Serial #1,169.all matching numbers. Only 2,200 issued to the U.S. Military. The carbine has fine & untouched metal, markings, and edges. it is U.S. Sub Inspected. All of the metal has an untouched and even light patina throughout it. The brass hardware is also fine and untouched with a mellow color to it. The carbine has fine untouched wood throughout it with sharp edges. There are two very clear U.S. Inspectors cartouched on the back side opposite the wood. The bore and action are both fine in it. This Is A Very Fine Looking And Untouched Example Of A Scarce U.S. Civil War Military Issued Joslyn Model 1862 Carbine. This Is A Very Difficult Civil War Carbine To Find In This Condition!
