Description:
Made between 1917 & 1921, known by the barrel address, this is a Chas Smith & Sons 12 gauge SxS, backlock hammer gun. Double triggers
Nitro Proof 30" barrels for 1 1/8 oz. of shot. Choked .003 & .030 (Cyl & Full). Bright bores with .725" bore diameters. .040" minimum wall thickness in both barrels. 2 1/2" chambers.
Butt stock has a 14 1/2" lenght of pull from the front trigger over the 1" Kick Eez recoil pad; 1 11/16" drop at the comb and 2 5/8" drop at the heel with significant right hand cast of 1/2".
Weighs 6 lbs. 11 oz.
Solid gun, on-face, mechanically excellent. Maybe the ideal gun for vintage Sporting Clays and a fun gun for late season pheasants.
