The Menz Suhl DSM 34 Sport Model is a pre-war single-shot rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It features a bolt-action design with a 26-inch barrel and traditional wood stock. The rifle carries a blued military-style finish and is configured with an adjustable rear sight typical of the DSM 34 training models. The stock has a smooth pistol-grip profile and includes the original metal butt plate, consistent with the period construction and styling of these German rifles.
This DSM 34 is used and retains its pre-war configuration with matching components. The bore condition is described as excellent, showing bright internal surfaces and strong rifling. The bolt action operates in the standard single-shot manner for this model, and the firearm bears serial number 622.
