"Serial no. 8031693. Manufactured circa 1960s at Factory 26 (Jianshe Arsenal), chambered in 7.62x39mm,20.5"" round barrel. The rifle remains in overall excellent condition. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are non-matching, and the magazine floorplate is unmarked. The carbine is equipped with its spike bayonet. The stock shows only minimal handling impressions, while the left side of the receiver is import marked. Factory 26 was the primary producer of Chinese Type 56 SKS carbines and supplied rifles both for domestic military use and export throughout the Cold War era. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
